John Ariki » Specialists

Dr. John Ariki is WaSo Africa Co-ordinator at the University of Juba in South Sudan. He acquired his first degree (BSc) in Geology from Ain Shams University, Cairo (1987), followed by an MSc (1994) and PhD in Geosciences (1997) from Clausthal University of Technology, Clausthal – Zellerfeld, Germany. He is currently the Director of the Centre for Remote Sensing and GIS at the University of Juba with a research interest in Applications of GIS in Natural Resources Management and Environment.
